Finally...!

Many parents, I'm sure would agree, that the words "Back to school" are three of the greatest words ever spoken.  Don't get me wrong: I love my kids.  But as a writer, not having the summer to really sit down and write; To really delve into the world you are creating, and to be able to let the words stream onto the page, well, the computer screen, is frustrating.  There is no possible way to be able to sink your teeth into anything, when you are constantly being "beckoned" to help set up video games, or get snacks or breakfast and lunch, etc.  The world of zombies and survival has been replaced by my survival in a world of needy children with too much time on their hands!  They would not agree, but their young minds NEED school to start.  They need to build the strength back in their brains.  To have a regimented schedule.  My wife and I NEED a schedule.  One that includes peace and quiet.  One that will allow me to really return to Ed and his world of the undead and his survival, along with his girlfriend, Lisa Jane. 
Yes, it is "back to school", and I couldn't be happier!
